About the role

The Associate Publicist is r esponsible for strategic media outreach on all  Felix  and FelixMag.co initiatives, projects and events, for editorial and advertising.

What you'll bring

• Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree
• Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for 3 months or a college graduate with 1+ years experience
• Excellent command of the English language
• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
• Ability to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
• Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills for communicating with media, internal depts and executive management
• Knowledge of Critical Mention database and Burrelle’s monitoring service
• Preferred candidates will have a record of developing and executing successful media strategies, r elevant media contacts and p roven media placements and a portfolio of press clips
