About the role
Eagle Seven is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and build systems that support firmwide positions, PnL, and risk services.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience developing high-performance distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in modern C++(C++11/14/17) including multithreading, lock-free programming, and memory model expertise
- Experience working with high message-rate or high-bandwidth systems
- Proven ability to design fault-tolerant, highly available systems
- Strong experience with relational database design and SQL
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, and sockets)
- Experience with debugging and observability tools such as GDB, Wireshark and tcpdump
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across trading, research, and engineering teams
- Postgress preferred
