About the role
The US Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial leadership and commercial decision support to the US Commercial organization. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Service, and Commercial Leadership to drive profitable growth through rigorous performance management, sales analytics, pricing governance, funnel analysis, and financial oversight of commercial activities. The Commercial Finance Manager serves as a trusted business partner, delivering actionable insights on orders, revenue, pricing, profitability, and sales productivity. This role will identify risks and opportunities, challenge business assumptions, and ensure commercial decisions are supported by sound financial analysis and aligned with organizational objectives.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or business analysis
- OR a Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial business drivers, including orders, revenue, sales funnel management, pricing, profitability, and customer performance metrics.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and influencing decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with sales and commercial leaders in a fast-paced environment, providing both strategic guidance and operational support.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights for commercial and executive leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience utilizing ERP, business intelligence, and performance management systems such as SAP, Power BI, OneStream, or similar platforms.
