Description
- Marine work on a naval yard working on United States Naval vessels
- Employee would be responsible for own travel/lodging
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience as a 1st class naval/commercial outside machinist
- Prefer to have experience with advanced weapons elevators and installation of aircraft elevators
- Must have working knowledge of shipbuilding terms and ability to operate a lathe
- Must have experience in installation of main engine & propulsion plant machinery & equipment, anchor windlass/mast/antenna/ballast tanks, cargo crane operation, portable milling/drill machine operation, installation & alignment of pumps & motors, and installation of various hydraulic components
- Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
- Must be a naturalized or US citizen
