Description

  • Travel: Be prepared to work in different locations as needed, providing utility locating services to a diverse range of clients
  • Underground Utility Detection: Use state-of-the-art equipment to accurately locate and mark underground utility lines, including gas, electric, and telecommunication lines
  • Mapping and Documentation: Record and document accurate and detailed information about the located utilities to provide essential data for construction and excavation projects
  • Communication: Collaborate with project managers, construction crews, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication regarding utility locations and potential hazards
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the job site
  • Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively address any issues or challenges related to utility location, providing solutions that prioritize safety and efficiency

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid, unexpired Driver's License
  • Experience: Previous experience in utility locating or related field is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with utility locating equipment and technology is a plus
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to different job sites and locations
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and clients
  • Physical Fitness: This position requires physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting, as well as the ability to work outdoors in various environments
  • Please note: This position is subject to pre-employment a background check and drug screen as well as random drug screens.
