Description

  • Develop and implement interactive training programs based on construction site needs.
  • Select the most effective training methods or activities based on the requirements of the construction site.
  • Conduct construction site needs assessments, identifying skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
  • Design and prepare educational materials and aids as needed.
  • Facilitate the training sessions, ensuring the schedules and trainers are organized and prepared to train.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for all workforces.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience as a safety trainer in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in traditional and modern job training methods.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a focus on handling multiple assignments and prioritizing work.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. This includes, walking/standing more than 75% of work time, climbing ladders and working at heights, ability to work in hot/cold, dusty, and noisy environments.
  • In-depth understanding of OSHA Standards and Requirements.
  • Train-the-trainer certification for Mobil Elevated Work Platforms and NFPA 70E.
  • Competency in Fall Protection training and auditing.
  • OSHA 500 certification.
