Description

  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures and utility systems of the building and grounds.
  • Responsibilities include painting and performing structural repair to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings and maintaining/repairing building utility systems such as electrical wiring and controls, heating and ventilating systems and water distribution/plumbing systems.
  • Maintain all records pertaining to preventative maintenance program (ISO)
  • Engages with the Safety Committee and follows up on action items as necessary.
  • Direct involvement on the Internal Recycling and Electrostatic Discharge programs and manages daily inspections of forklifts and fire exits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers.
  • Follow all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma and/or vocational/trade school is preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years Building and Material Handling equipment maintenance experience
  • Required to safely operate a variety of power tools.
